Opportunity Summary 

This is an opportunity to work with male inmates who are receiving various levels of mental health services in a maximum security prison. You will participate as a member of an interdisciplinary team and have the opportunity to offer services in a mental health crisis bed, in a general population setting, and in restricted housing units. Services will be provided to individuals and groups. Opportunities are available to design, create, and implement new services to help patients with unmet needs.

Opportunity Training 

Students will receive education and training from custody, mental health, and recreation therapy professionals. Each student will have a licensed recreation therapist as a primary supervisor.
