Looking for a meaningful way to give back to your community or gain valuable classroom experience? KEY Academy is looking for volunteers to support our students throughout the school day and during our after-school program! Volunteer opportunities are flexible and available Monday through Friday between 8:15 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., making it easy to fit into your schedule. As a volunteer, you'll work alongside teachers to help students with learning activities, classwork, and homework, while building positive relationships that encourage student success. You can also join the fun by assisting with our engaging after-school clubs and enrichment activities. Whether you're a college student exploring a career in education, someone needing volunteer hours, or simply looking for a rewarding way to make a difference, we'd love to have you join our team. Your time and support can have a lasting impact on the lives of our students!

Training will be provided by assigned teachers on sight to ensure trainings are accurate to what is needed in each individual classroom. Training will be provided as needed after an initial training period of 5 days. General trainings will be provided by the site supervisor and main contact. They will provide trainings on overall professionalism, daily operations, and tools they may need to use while volunteering.
Student Volunteers may need to walk and navigate around classrooms. Student Volunteers may witness situations involving students experiencing trouble regulating their emotions.
Volunteers will be required to do a background check to be able to volunteer on the school site. Volunteers will be asked about grade level preferences or types of activities they feel most comfortable with.
