Opportunity Summary 

The Donor Network West Summer Internship Program provides college students and emerging professionals with a hands-on introduction to the organ and tissue donation field while building valuable workplace skills. Interns rotate through multiple departments, gaining exposure to areas such as Marketing, Finance, Information Technology, Human Resources, Quality, Business Intelligence, and Education Programs. The program combines real-world project work, professional development workshops, mentorship, networking opportunities, and experiential learning activities. Throughout the internship, participants develop skills in communication, professionalism, teamwork, time management, and leadership while learning how various functions work together to support Donor Network West’s life-saving mission. The experience concludes with a capstone presentation in which interns reflect on their learning, showcase key projects, and share insights gained during the program.

Opportunity Training 

Donor Network West takes an education approach for all interns. For any task that an intern performs they will receive training both on the technical skills required to complete the work, but also the context of the work to connect how it fits into the larger organizational scope.
