The Napa-Solano-Yolo-Marin County Public Health Laboratory (NSYMPHL), owned and operated by Solano County, is a regional public health laboratory that provides clinical and environmental laboratory testing to a population of 1.1 million residents in our 4-county service area. NSYMPHL also provides public health testing for emerging diseases, outbreaks, and surveillance of diseases of public health importance. NSYMPHL works directly with many local public health agencies and the California Department of Public Health.

Type of service: Resource Support (staffing a resource table, responding to community questions regarding resources, collecting/distributing resources)

Southwest Community Corporation at I.T. Bookman Community Center was built on the foundation of a communal need for multipurpose space within the community, with the purpose of embracing the needs of the surrounding Oceanview, Merced Heights, and Ingleside (OMI) neighborhoods and serving it's residence in a more consorted and collaborative effort. Its partnerships with the Department of Aging and Adult Services, Department of Public Health and the Stonestown Family YMCA has resulted in a continuum of focused center services to the entire community. The board, staff and participants work together to develop and implement quality, service enriched activities and programs that address aging in place, health disparities, barrier removal, physical fitness, diet, nutrition and social engagement, to all age groups, while maintaining an atmosphere that encourages positive growth, intergeneration learning experiences and community revitalization through the use of the facility, civic and private activities and events.

Our Mission is to enhance the quality of life for older adults and residents experiencing low income in Alameda County. Senior Meals are for all in the community ages 60 and better and guests. These delicious lunches are freshly prepared each day at Spectrum’s cooking kitchen by the loving hands of our chefs. A nutritious lunch and friendship enhances physical and mental well-being.

Our therapists are held to the highest standards and participate in ongoing continuing education which ensures that our patients are getting the most current and up-to-date treatment available. We commit to provide comprehensive and individualized physical therapy services to each and every patient that comes through our door and strive to return every patient to the level of comfort to which they are accustomed.
