Dirt-Stained Roses Intern At — Dirt-Stained Roses Productions (DSR)
Students will gain hands-on experience within an active production company while receiving mentorship from entertainment industry professionals. Based on their interests, skills, and academic background, interns may contribute to film and media production, development, writing, social media, marketing, communications, community outreach, and other DSR projects. The program welcomes students from all majors who are interested in exploring how their skills can translate into entertainment and creative industries.
Students will have learned how a production company develops and executes creative projects from concept through completion; how different professional disciplines contribute to entertainment and media; and how to collaborate, communicate, meet deadlines, and contribute within a professional creative environment. Students will also gain practical experience, industry mentorship, and portfolio-building opportunities to support their future career goals.
Students will receive an orientation, project-specific training, and guidance on DSR workflows, professional expectations, communication, production processes, social media, and community outreach. Additional training will be provided as new assignments and projects are introduced.
Students will receive safety instructions appropriate to each assignment or location. For productions, events, or community outreach activities, students will be briefed on site-specific procedures and supervised by a DSR team member. Students will not be required to perform unsafe tasks or operate specialized equipment without proper training and supervision.
