Health Care Management Department - Special Grant Funded Projects

At HWPT we provide excellent differential diagnostic methods, such as a thorough movement exam and investigation of posture, mechanics and overall function, to help determine which treatment methods and services you will benefit from most. Our thorough evaluations lead to successful treatment plans for your pain relief, healing, and future injury prevention needs.

The Healthy Balance Research Lab (HBRL) is directed by Dr. Selena Nguyen-Rodriguez, Professor of Health Science at California State University, Long Beach. HBRL's mission is to support the health and well-being of our underserved community members. Our community-based research focus on energy balance, mental balance and social justice aims to develop intervention methods to provide holistic approaches to prevention of chronic disease. Through these efforts, we hope to contribute to achieving health equity for our very deserving local populations.

My company’s roots began in 1926, when my grandmother Velma Pust was born in Lambert, Montana. Growing up she would tell me stories about farm life in eastern Montana and the hard life her family lived which formed her into a 5’1” german spitfire of love. Velma graduated from Sidney high school and moved to Livingston, MT where she worked side-by-side with Carl Wilcoxson’s son Harold, at Wilcoxson’s Confectionary. Velma met her husband, Walter, a janitor at the local hospital who frequented Wilcoxson’s Confectionary in 1946, they were married in two short weeks and moved back to Lambert, MT to start selling Velma’s cattle. Velma and Walter were blessed with 5 grandchildren and 2 great granddaughters before they passed.

You are probably wondering how this backstory relates to Heart to Heart Home Care…Velma was struggling with the signs and symptoms of Alzheimer’s disease, she was officially diagnosed in 2000. There was a significant lack of resources that could help guide our family through these changes- when my grandma almost burned the house down, with my little brother inside, I made it my mission to learn all about this debilitating disease.

Every child and family that is touched by Autism or other neuro-developmental disorders deserve the opportunity to reach their full potential and achieve their long-term goals. HEARTS of ABA is committed to providing quality ABA services and helping these family so they can meet these goals and enhance their quality of life, hoping to make a difference in one child and one family at a time.

Occupational Therpaist- private practice

The mission of Helpline Youth Counseling is to serve youth and their families by promoting the development of strong individuals and families in their community. HYC provides strength-based counseling, education, prevention, and intervention services to assist youth and families to move toward realizing their life goals despite experiencing past or current life changes, trauma or abuse.

Our age groups are 2-24 months, 2-3 years, 3-4 years, 4-5 years and school age children.

We work tirelessly to create fun and pleasant play experience and constantly strive to pioneer new and better educational experience. 

Our program include art, gym, music, Ballet, Taekwondo and cooking class.
