About Girls Inc. In partnership with schools and at Girls Inc. centers, we focus on the development of the whole girl. She learns to value herself, take risks, and discover and develop her inherent strengths. The combination of long-lasting mentoring relationships, a pro-girl environment, and evidence-based programming equips girls to navigate gender, economic, and social barriers, and grow up healthy, educated, and independent. Informed by girls and their families, we also advocate for legislation and policies to increase opportunities and rights for all girls.

Grades of Green provides students with the support and resources they need to discover their passion and turn it into environmental action. We differentiate our approach by offering personalized mentorship and hands-on environmental leadership training through project‐based learning, including required civic engagement projects that actively work on environmental issues to create impact, today. Working with schools across the world, we’ve created a global network of young environmentalists who are able to learn from one another to find solutions to today and tomorrow’s environmental challenges.

Our interns are assigned to a specific program and program manager. Some programs operate across multiple sites. Depending on program capacity and an intern’s availability, more than one intern may be assigned to the same program.
