About Girls Inc. In partnership with schools and at Girls Inc. centers, we focus on the development of the whole girl. She learns to value herself, take risks, and discover and develop her inherent strengths. The combination of long-lasting mentoring relationships, a pro-girl environment, and evidence-based programming equips girls to navigate gender, economic, and social barriers, and grow up healthy, educated, and independent. Informed by girls and their families, we also advocate for legislation and policies to increase opportunities and rights for all girls.

Girls Inc. programs feature research-based curricula for girls ages 5 to 18 at our Youth & Family Center and over 50 outreach sites. We put our mission into practice by strengthening the whole girl, by providing year-round, holistic, compensatory, and intentional programming; focusing on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, & Math), healthy relationships, sound body image and teaching girls to use their voice to advocate for themselves and others.

Girls on the Run is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to creating a world where every girl knows and activates her limitless potential and is free to boldly pursue her dreams.

GOALS offers a variety of sports-based and educational programming (during and after -school) services to high need communities and school in the Huntington Beach, Anaheim, and Placentia.

Grades of Green provides students with the support and resources they need to discover their passion and turn it into environmental action. We differentiate our approach by offering personalized mentorship and hands-­on environmental leadership training through project­‐based learning, including required civic engagement projects that actively work on environmental issues to create impact, today. Working with schools across the world, we’ve created a global network of young environmentalists who are able to learn from one another to find solutions to today and tomorrow’s environmental challenges.

We serve unhoused adults in Orange County with a documented history of homelessness who may also have disabilities, chronic illnesses, substance use disorders, histories of incarceration, and experiences of trauma.

Our interns are assigned to a specific program and program manager. Some programs operate across multiple sites. Depending on program capacity and an intern’s availability, more than one intern may be assigned to the same program.
