Long Beach BLAST
BLAST reaches out to connect college students with Long Beach area youth who are facing adversity. The youth gain a positive role model and encouragement towards a brighter future. The college students have an opportunity to get away from stress, experience a deeper sense of purpose, and put their unique skills to use. Donors and supporters join the legacy BLAST is leaving in the lives of mentees and mentors. Our outstanding programs which lead youth in basic life skills, goal setting, character development, establishing trusting relationships, and academic success.

In addition to registering with S4 @ The Beach service-learning students must follow the LB BLAST application process as outlined below. Please do not register here if the deadline to register with BLAST has passed.
- Sign-up For and Attend a Training Session
- Complete a Live Scan background check (more information will be provided at the training session)
- Submit negative TB results (more information at the training session)
