StandUp for Kids

Organization Description

StandUp for Kids - Orange County was launched in 2003 with a single focus: To end the cycle of youth homelessness in our community. We work to provide basic needs, housing, mentoring support, care, and love to at-risk and homeless youth ages 12-24. In 2021, we've adjusted programming to address COVID restrictions and changes. View our Programs page to learn how we are continuing to grow in the scope and quality of care we provide to our youth. Here's what we accomplished in 2020.

Program Information

Our ongoing mission is to end the cycle of youth homelessness. We serve unaccompanied homeless and at-risk youth from 12 to the 25th birthday. The foundation of our work is based around the national organization's pillars of support (Street Outreach, Outreach Centers, Mentoring, and Housing). The Orange County chapter accomplishes this through two main programs, Roadmap to Success (RMTS) and Journey to Self-Sufficiency (JTS), supported by ancillary programs addressing the unique needs of this population.
