Organization Description

The Long Beach Health and Human Services Department (Health Department) has been improving the health of the Long Beach community for over a century. We strive to create a safe and healthy community for all to live, work, and play.

Health & Safety

Administrative risks related to working in an office. No additional risks identified. Site training and supervision will be provided. 

If there are multiple students needing an internship we would split up them up to have a better ratio of 1-3 students per supervisor. This will ensure the supervisors don't get overwhelmed and can get a better experience for the students.
