Not Alone at the Beach

Program Information

Not Alone at the Beach is a faculty-led collaborative of CSULB faculty, staff, and students working to prevent and address power-based violence such as sexual assault, dating violence, and stalking on campus. In addition to conducting education and outreach programs, NATB also runs four primary prevention programs, including our Healthy Relationships Training (HeaRT) program, our Mentors in Violence Prevention Bystander program, our Flip the Script sexual assault resistance program, and our Every Kiss Begins with Consent workshop.

All students, regardless of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender, gender identity, and sexual orientation, are open and welcome to participate.

Health & Safety

Our programming includes discussions of sexual assault, dating violence, and stalking which can be triggering for some people.

I currently supervise 10 students who are training to serve as peer facilitators for our HeaRT, Flip the Script, and Every Kiss Begins with Consent program. Supervision includes an 80 hour in-person training period followed by weekly in-person supervision sessions.
