Organization Description

The Orange County Probation Department is a public safety / Law Enforcement agency committed to protecting the public, assisting the courts, assisting victims and helping offenders change their behavior to help them become productive citizens within their communities.

Health & Safety

students need to be aware of blood borne pathogens. Because juvenile hall is a youth detention facility, youths may become upset or violent when they become agitated or feel as though they have been pushed beyond their ability to cope. Probation staff are trained in de-escalation techniques and the students should move away from incidents and go to a safe area within the unit for their safety.
