Our mission is more than words. We always aim to prevent and relieve suffering with every action. The Red Cross shelters, feeds and provides comfort to people affected by disasters; supplies about 40% of the nation’s blood; teaches skills that save lives; distributes international humanitarian aid; and supports veterans, military members and their familie

Health & Safety

Some of our blood donors are over the age of 50 or are high school students. We ask students to keep an eye on our donors, especially of these age populations to make sure they do not get any adverse reactions.

While at a blood drive, the student will be reporting to the Charge Nurse and can go to them for any assistance. I am also available if needed, but mostly I am available via phone or email.
