Opportunity Summary 

• Receive on-the-job training in your role for experience and help administer service accordingly. • Shadow professionals deliver lifesaving treatment to individuals with substance use disorders • Engage in an interactive relationship with intern coordinator, mentor and/or staff to request and complete tasks, check in, and communicate on intern experience. • Communicate effectively to your Intern Coordinator and/or Mentor of any tasks, documentation, or requirements, that have been requested by your educational institution. • Assist with maintenance and completion of routine duties and or assigned tasks. • Provide Customer Service Support and create a positive environment for clients/patients. • Provide clerical and/or administrative support as needed to any department. • Provide special event support to the organization which includes but is not limited to outreach events, community education, job fairs or agency staff meetings/trainings. • Attends all required trainings, webinars, check ins, and any other staff meetings provided by the Intern Coordinator and/or Mentor. • Become knowledgeable of the Standard Operating Procedures of Janus. • Ensure that required observation, tasks, projects and outreach are completed. • Gives and welcomes feedback and contributes to positive team-based environment. • Complies with all legal and ethical requirements and licensing code of ethics to maintain clients’ safety and rights. • Always maintains client confidentiality and HIPAA guidelines. • Brings issues of concern and /or importance to Intern Coordinator and/or Mentor for consultation. • Assumes additional responsibility consistent with organization needs. • Other Duties as Assigned

Opportunity Training 

Two-day New Hire Orientation. Relias training on ethics, policies, procedures, substance use disorder and self-care in a behavioral health field. Attend weekly treatment meetings. Attend monthly and quarterly webinars provided by Advocates for Human Potential
