Janus of Santa Cruz mission is to provide supportive, hope-inspiring, and successful substance abuse services in a professional and compassionate environment and to assist individuals and their families on their journey toward wellness and recovery.

Janus of Santa Cruz provides drug and alcohol treatment to individuals across multiple levels of care.

Janus provides treatment across the following modalities: residential treatment, perinatal residential treatment, day treatment, perinatal day treatment, Intensive Outpatient, DUI, Medicated Assisted Treatment and child & family programs.

Janus is a field leader in utilizing the very best treatment practices and sharing our knowledge through conferences, team meetings, one-on one support and training. Janus of Santa Cruz has provided the highest level of care for the past forty years to individuals and families seeking treatment for substance use disorders. With our main facility located a block and a half from the beach, Janus is a state-licensed and CARF certified non-profit offering residential detoxification, residential stays, day treatment, outpatient counseling, perinatal services, and medication-assisted treatment.

Engagement in AOD services in Admissions, Residential & Withdrawal Management Programs. Services are provided in-person and will not be available remotely. Activities/Projects are offered to interns as they arise and per intern interest.

Risk of exposure to infectious diseases due to one-to-one contact with individuals and their children.  The facility has stairs.  There is a very slight risk of violent clients.
