CA LULAC State Convention student volunteerAt — LULAC #2055
The California LULAC Foundation is offering a meaningful service-learning opportunity for students at California State University, Monterey Bay through its 2026 Annual Convention in Monterey. This event brought together influential leaders—including Xavier Becerra, Betty Yee, and Antonio Villaraigosa—to discuss critical issues such as immigrant rights, economic opportunity, and community empowerment. Student volunteers have the opportunity to earn service-learning hours while gaining hands-on experience in areas like event planning and production while also developing an event focused on education, environmental justice, and civic engagement with an emphasis on high school and young adults. This experience not only supports impactful community initiatives but also helps students build leadership skills, expand their networks, and actively contribute to advancing opportunities for the Latino community.
