Organization Description

Mission: The League of United Latin American Citizens advances the economic condition, educational attainment, political influence, housing, health, and civil rights of the Hispanic population in the United States. Purpose: LULAC Council 2055 empowers the Hispanic community in Salinas and surrounding areas through education, economic growth, leadership, and civic engagement, fostering strong communities through supportive services, development programs, and professional networks across public and private sectors.

Health & Safety

The main event is a 3 day event, students will be required to come to all briefing meeting which are held one and a half hour before programming begins and at the end of the day. Some team meetings which are held at night. These team briefing meetings are usually brief and used to recap the day and prepare for the next day's events.

We recommend all volunteers to practice the buddy system or letting supervisor know where they are even in their down time.
