Outreach Ambassador At — Voces Unidas: HSI Student Advisory Board
Fellow Duties:
College Corps Fellows serving with Voces Unidas as Outreach Ambassadors will support student engagement and outreach efforts that advance HSI servingness and student voice on campus. Fellows will participate in tabling and outreach during campus events such as Admitted Otter Days, orientations, Otter Thursdays, and community-based events.
Fellows will engage directly with students by sharing information about Voces Unidas, connecting them to campus resources, and building relationships with campus programs and departments. Responsibilities also include flyer distribution, supporting outreach initiatives, and providing mini orientations or campus tours upon request.
Through these efforts, Fellows will help increase student awareness, participation, and engagement, while contributing to a more inclusive and student-centered campus environment.
Qualities and Skills :
We are seeking Fellows who are passionate about student advocacy, equity, and community engagement. Ideal candidates are strong communicators who are comfortable engaging with diverse student populations and working in collaborative environments.
Fellows should demonstrate initiative, reliability, and a willingness to step outside of their comfort zone to connect with others. An interest in leadership development, civic engagement, and supporting underrepresented communities will contribute to success in this role. Bilingual skills and prior experience in outreach or student engagement are a plus, but not required.
