Organization Description

Mission:  An innovative community school system, we equip preschool to adult students with the skills, knowledge, and attitudes they will need to pursue their life goals responsibly and creatively in a radically changing society.

 

Program Information

At Castroville Elementary School (K - 6th grade) we are committed to ensuring that students, staff, and community collaborate to create citizens who are highly literate and have both a personal and global understanding of their world.

Service opportunities during the afterschool and lunchtime tutoring/mentoring. Lunchtime integration Project/activities-getting kids of different backgrounds to play peacefully together. Afterschool arts/sports program. Tech support: maintain Website, support teachers 5-Tutor in computer lab. Support student council forum for youth leadership development.
