Organization Description

La Casa is designed to provide Health Care, Social and Recreation Services for Adults and Seniors in a therapeutic and nurturing environment. Funded by MediCal, VA or Private Pay. Our aim is to fulfill the physical, emotional, intellectual, social and personal needs of every participant and increase their independence.

Program Information

-Assists in Administration
-Works with Activity Director creating Therapeutic Activities age appropriate for participants to include monitoring and working with groups
-Maintains documentation of communication and statistics required that impact the CBAS referral and workflow process
-Develops and maintains network of current community resources and services where members can be referred for assistance
-Acts as an integral part of the team providing verbal and written support.
-Other projects and duties are assigned
-Adheres to policies/procedures to include (HIPAA) and CBAS
-Think analytically to evaluate alternative courses for action for process/program development approaches to challenges and opportunities
-Develops creative/innovative approaches to challenges and opportunities
-Adeptly utilizes LA CASA computer program and Microsoft Office application. Computer knowledge is a must
-Complete Participant flow sheets and Care plans in a timely manner
-Manages multiple complex projects at one time
