Restorative Justice Partners, Inc. (RJP)

Organization Description

RJP brings those who have been victimized together with those who have committed an offense with, families, and other community members together in restorative justice practices to create alternative resolution programs that foster empathy, accountability, and restoration of fairness. RJP, Inc. offers the following programs; Victim Offender Reconciliation Program (VORP), Victim Impact Program (VIP), and Restorative Justice in the Schools. The process asks: what harm resulted, how might the harm be repaired, and who is responsible for restoration? 

Program & Services:

Victim Offender Reconciliation Program (VORP)- a mediation process

Victim Impact Program (VIP)- Opportunity to help restore relationships in the community

RJ in the Schools: a restorative approach to supplement suspension, expulsion, and other "pipeline to prison" processes for administrators, teachers and students.

Agency is totally supported by local funding/grants.
