Early Learning Program- MCOE

Organization Description

The Monterey County Office of Education (MCOE) is a vital component of our K-12 education. We serve as a critical link between our county's schools and both state and federal governments, and we provide indispensable and cost-effective services to local schools and districts.

Program Information

The MCOE Early Learning program promotes the school readiness of toddlers and preschool-aged children from low-income families. Our program also engages parents or other key family members in positive relationships, with a focus on family wellbeing. Parents can also participate in leadership roles, including having a say in program operations. It is the Monterey County Early Learning Program’s mission, in partnership with the community, to provide the highest quality early childhood education and comprehensive child and family services to all of our children

Sites are at locations in North Monterey County, Salinas, and throughout South Monterey County.
