Hopkins Marine Station of Stanford University - Ocean Education Station (OES)
The Ocean Education Station (OES) is a free education station that allows the general public to explore their scientific curiosities with professional biologists and marine scientists. We aim to educate the general public on fundamental cell and molecular biology concepts in relation to natural history, evolution, and biodiversity.
We will be working with live animals everyday, some of which that have claws or spines (crabs and urchins) that could cause minor injury. Safe handling techniques will be taught to every student in order to minimize injury risk.
- Driver's License

Final days/hours have yet to be determined but the OES will run 2-3 times per week for 4-5 hours each time. As students get more comfortable with set up and take down, total time will likely be closer to 4 hours.
