Organization Description

The mission of the Santa Clara County Parks & Recreation Department is to provide, protect, and preserve regional parklands for the enjoyment, education and inspiration of this and future generations.

Health & Safety

Students may have possible exposure to poison oak on the trails or come into contact with bees or other insects in the outdoors. Part of the site training will show students how to identify poison oak in the field. The site also has stairs and ramps that the student will use to access the teaching locations.
