Kids In Nutrition (KIN) [inactive]
Kids In Nutrition (KIN) is dedicated to enhancing food equity and improving health for at-risk youth and families through food literacy and food access. Recognizing that children form lifelong habits by age nine, KIN's mission is to cultivate nutrition knowledge and foster positive food preferences during their formative years. Early food literacy plays a pivotal role in instilling healthy dietary habits that carry into adulthood, thus establishing a foundation for preventing chronic disease and advancing health equity.

Kids In Nutrition is curated to student schedules, allowing for volunteer time flexibility. In general, our organization hours are 8am-8pm every day of the week to speak and schedule time with a staff member.
Note: Our organization's site address is solely a mailing address. All student engagement is either remote or occurs locally near their university campus. That being said, there is no maximum limit to the number of students involved at Kids In Nutrition.
