Ohana Therapies

Organization Description

Our organization’s mission is to provide high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children with autism and related developmental delays. We are committed to creating individualized treatment plans that nurture each child’s unique strengths while supporting growth in communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills. Our purpose is to empower children and their families through evidence-based practices, collaboration, and compassionate care. By fostering meaningful progress and independence, we strive to help every child reach their fullest potential and enhance their overall quality of life.

Health & Safety

We offer services to children with autism, ages 2 to 11, accommodating clients with mild to moderate needs. Some children may display challenging behaviors, including self-injury or aggression toward others. Our staff generally work from 3:00 to 7:30 p.m., with sessions scheduled after school hours. Children are always supervised, and a legal guardian must be present while services are being provided.

Supervisors regularly oversee staff work, initially providing modeling and training. Over time, support is gradually reduced, eventually tapering to once-a-week supervision once the staff demonstrates independence.

Families may use a nanny camera during sessions, provided they disclose its use and obtain consent from the staff. Services are home-based, meaning staff deliver care at the client’s residence. Staff are trained to address safety concerns, but in the event of an emergency, they follow established safety protocols and immediately notify the family or appropriate authorities.
