Organization Description

The mission of the Boys and Girls Club is to enable young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.

 

Description of tasks students will engage in:

CSUN students participate in and support ongoing Club programs, whether in athletics (soccer, basketball, running, indoor climbing, etc.), the arts (painting, drawing, sculpting, dance, and culinary), education (tutoring 1st grade through 12th gade), leadership (Keystone and Torch Clubs), social recreation (diverse games and activities to build social skills and healthy relationships), and beyond.

Health & Safety

We require a TB test and LiveScan background check proior to being accepted for intership. Staff are certified Mandated Reporters, and are CPR/First Aid/CERT Certified. Youth range from 6-18 year sof age (if still in high school).

  • Background Check (e.g. fingerprinting/livescan, driving record)
