Program Information

The mission of University Advancement is to elevate CSUN’s reputation, help build and strengthen its financial resources, and to expand its network and influence through strategic communications and internal and external stakeholder engagement.

Internship Title: Development and Fundraising Intern        

Job Description: To write communications pieces that appear in CSUN Today and CSUN Weekly, written under the supervision of our professional staff. The student would also work on letters, emails, proposals and other communications that focus on engaging alumni and other friends/community to give to CSUN. Research finding the appropriate contacts, event coverage, feature writing, profiles and possibly even press releases.
