Autism Spectrum Services: "In February 2010, the Institute convened an Autism Affinity Group to help focus campus resources and services on what has become the fastest-growing disability in the nation. One of its first activities was to compile a CSUN Autism Directory summarizing on-campus resources and expertise. The group has also identified a number of promising funding opportunities for the coming year that may be used to strengthen and expand autism-related services at campus centers and promote interdisciplinary research and activities."

Faculty Staff Wellness Program: "The primary element of the program is an on-campus class and coaching program designed to improve cardiovascular capacity, strength, and mobility, and it will ultimately incorporate the par course outdoor exercise equipment stations planned for installation on campus"

Obesity Prevention Program: "Faculty affiliated with the Institute have secured external funding to launch and expand a variety of obesity prevention and nutrition programs both on campus and in the San Fernando Valley"

Veterans Program: "The Institute has organized a leadership team on veterans’ initiatives that has been working to enhance resources, increase knowledge, and develop collaborative networks in support of veterans at Cal State Northridge."

Teenage Drama Workshop (TADW) : "TADW is a six-week, intensive summer workshop for young people interested in theatre"
