Organization Description

The mission of UrbanPromise Los Angeles is to provide the children and youth of Los Angeles with the academic, spiritual, and social development needed to become Christian leaders who are determined to restore their communities. Its vision is to reach a child, raise a leader, and restore community. UrbanPromise Los Angeles provides free after school and summer camp programs to elementary and middle school students from lower-income households/communities. Students receive academic tutoring, support with reading/literacy, participate in arts & crafts, Bible, STEM, and recreational activities at UrbanPromise's program facility.

  • Pre-Placement Training
  • SAFETY: Students are NOT PERMITTED to take photos or video while on site.
  • SUPERVISION: Students may be required to work at night (after 6pm).
