CSUN Sensory Motor Program

Program Information

Students will apply motor behavior concepts by designing and delivering developmentally appropriate movement experiences for children in a supervised, hands-on setting. Working individually and in teams, students create lesson plans, lead activities, and assess skill progress, while parents and families are invited to observe their children’s growth and participation. This project bridges classroom learning with real-world application, preparing students to translate motor behavior theory into practical programs that promote confidence, competence, and lifelong engagement in physical activity.
