VNAcare Hospice

Organization Description

We are a nonprofit healthcare organization dedicated to providing compassionate hospice care to the communities we serve. We always seek to help patients avoid hospitalization and to feel that they are in control of their own care. We specifically focus on each patient’s needs and develop an individualized plan of care based on their wishes. Since the need to reduce pain and provide both emotional and physical support is so vital, we provide patients with palliative care services as part of our commitment to patients and their loved ones.

Health & Safety

The students will be visiting our hospice patients in a variety of settings, such as the patient's private homes, senior residences and skilled nursing facilities. They need to remain aware of their environment and any hazards that can exist in these settings.
