Our Mission. To provide for the health, inspiration and education of the people of California by helping to preserve the state's extraordinary biological diversity, protecting its most valued natural and cultural resources, and creating opportunities for high-quality outdoor recreation.

Camp Via West is a private, independent non-profit that has been serving the Bay Area and beyond since 1945. We envision an inclusive world in which people of all abilities and their families are living joyful and fulfilling lives. Camp Via West’s beautiful 13.5-acre campus nestled in the Redwoods of the Cupertino foothills offers a wide variety of respite and inclusion camps for children and adults to learn new skills, develop meaningful relationships, build confidence, and more… all while enjoying the great outdoors!

In July, 2022, Camp Via West officially became affiliated with AbilityPath which provides educational, therapeutic, and family support services to children, adults, and seniors with developmental disabilities and their families. The newly combined nonprofit is one of the largest providers of services for individuals with developmental disabilities on the Peninsula. Both organizations share a common mission and vision for the future: ensuring those we serve achieve their full potential and are included in all aspects of our community.

Student interns will be providing direct services to children, youth and their families in a variety of program offered by VCSS. Village Values is a licensed in-home family daycare, childcare, preschool, and family resource network offering values-based childcare for infants and children ages 6 weeks to 5 years. We provide drop-in care (upon availability) and overnight care (by request), including night shift childcare, extended hours, and third shift support. Children thrive in our warm, secure home setting through guided learning, purposeful play, and individualized attention that builds confidence and independence. Village Values is designed for families who want more than traditional daycare—those seeking intentional care, meaningful growth, and a village they can trust.

VITA Academy seeks to sustain and grow music’s relevance in our region by partnering with musicians, non-profits, and schools to create innovative concert and education programs — utilizing its programs to develop emerging professional musicians to become effective teaching artists — equipped to educate as well as perform.
