Organization Description

MISSION
Mission: Empowering Families...At Delta Prevention we know that the real strength of a child's life lies in the family. Our families are what guide us, mold us and sustain us throughout our lives. But families face many challenges; from single parenthood to communication challenges to behavioral problems. All parents and kids need support sometimes to help navigate the stressful times. Because we know that love is the heart of the family, we help strengthen the core by increasing the skills of families. Helping them work TOGETHER to build resilience.

GOALS
To accomplish our mission, we utilize evidence-based family skills training programs found to significantly improve parenting skills and family relationships, reduce problem behaviors, delinquency and alcohol and drug abuse in children and to improve social competencies and school performance. In addition, we work with our community to ensure that barriers to raising healthy kids are removed.
