Program Information

Students will be doing research on programs and helping on some that are already up and running to address health disparities in the community. Goals are based on a community needs assessment and students will have some latitude to take initiative and have leadership roles within programs. In 2019 the priorities are mental health, economic security, obesity/diabetes, violence/injury prevention, access to care, and substance use.

Health & Safety

We are a hospital so students will need a TB screening and a physical health clearance including updated immunizations.
