The mission of the Probation Department is to promote the safety of the citizens of Placer County by conducting investigations for the court, enforcing court orders, ensuring victim’s rights, engaging in crime prevention partnerships, and facilitating the re-socialization of offenders through the use of evidence-based supervision and best practices.
