Organization Description

At Rio Guard, we tackle pollution where it begins: at the watershed level. Our team conducts daily patrols and clean-ups, focusing on hotspots that pose environmental hazards.

By removing waste and contaminants before they reach larger water bodies, we aim to preserve the health of our rivers, lakes, and ultimately, our oceans. Since our inception, Rio Guard has removed over 10 tons of waste from key watersheds, protecting wildlife and improving water quality for communities across the region.Our proactive approach stops pollution at the source, making a lasting impact on our environment

Program Information

Student(s) will serve as an assistant to Project Manger for Dept. Water Resource Industrial Hygiene Contract. Traning will be provided. 

Developing projects for the agency (e.g. walking tour guide, creating a website, writing a grant proposal, devloping design plans, research project, etc.).
