Organization Description

Dr. Lyon is an expert in the field of Asian American history and public history including community-based research, interpretation, and historic preservation. She has partenered with Save Our Chinatown Committee to advise, to testify in public hearings regarding preservation issues in Riverside, to create service-learning opportunities for students, and supervising research teams of students for shared scholarly inquiry into the history of Chinese immigrants in the inland region of Southern California.
