Opportunity Summary 

Year-round and one-time projects to choose from. Hands-on and/or remote. Assistance planning and coordinating community services and one day major fundraisers (Live Your Dream Reunion & Celebration, LUNAFEST Film Festival and more) in Carlsbad and/or Oceanside. Social media channels and event pages updates and posts. Public relations/press correspondent. Graphic Design. Marketing Content. Onsite event assistance with set-up/take-down, check-in, IT, AV, food, beverage, greeters, auction, etc.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

Depending on the students chosen area of focus, it could include skills and training on Community Service Grants, Education Grants, Art Scholarships, Career Support, Hands On Community Projects for local non-profits, Annual Fundraisers, Anti-Human Trafficking, Public Relations, Development, Social Media and more.

Opportunity Training 

Students may join committee meetings with hands-on and/or virtual meeting training and/or day of service or event training. Depending on chosen project, it may be one-on-one training or small group training.
