Organization Description

The mission of Palomar Health is to heal, comfort and promote health in the communities we serve.

Health & Safety

As a hospital organization, students are may work with minors, elderly, behaviorally challenged populations, or individuals with criminal background or history of violent behavior. Students will always be partnered with another staff or trained professional when working with any of these special populations.

Interns will frequently operate hospital beds and gurneys. Students are extensively trained on proper usage and proper body mechanics when working with these machineries.

Photography and videography is strictly prohibited while students are on duty to protect the privacy of patient information following HIPAA.
