San Diego Habitat Conservancy

Organization Description

San Diego Habitat Conservancy (SDHC) is a nationally accredited land trust working since 2004 to acquire, manage, and protect land that supports sensitive habitats and species.

Health & Safety

Work activities may involve difficult conditions, uneven terrain, unanticipated natural hazards, use of equipment, and/or strenuous manual labor.

Parking locations are dependent upon the Preserve location and are generally open to public parking. The Preserve Manager will determine the best parking location depending on the Preserve location and the amount of cars expected to attend.

Depending on the amount of volunteers present and the Preserve site conditions, there may be periods of time where groups are unsupervised.

Photography and videography is allowed and encouraged, and SDHC may use photos or videos of participants for marketing, advertising, trade, and/or editorial purposes.
