Women's Resource Center

Organization Description

The Women’s Resource Center of North County (WRC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing comprehensive, trauma-informed services to all gendered individuals and families impacted by domestic violence, sexual assault, and homelessness. Our mission is to empower survivors to live safe, healthy, and self-sufficient lives through crisis intervention, emergency shelter, housing support, counseling, advocacy, and prevention education. WRC is committed to advancing equity, dignity, and social justice while fostering long-term stability and resilience within the communities we serve across North County San Diego.

Health & Safety

WRC works with survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and related forms of interpersonal trauma. Client safety, confidentiality, and anonymity are central to all program operations. For this reason, photography, video recording, audio recording, and social media documentation are strictly prohibited in client service areas, shelters, and during any client-related activities. This policy exists to protect the physical safety, privacy, and confidentiality of survivors, many of whom may be at ongoing risk.
