Organization Description

Our program focuses on the whole child by providing a positive and unique learning experience during play. Our program educates parents about the needs of their young children. Our goal is to improve the development of children by involving the parents during a crucial time in their children’s lives. As educator, we know that parents are the key to children learning at home.

Program Information

Duties and Responibilities: Educate/teach children ages 2 months- 10years. Every month teachers are required to go to training at Stanislaus Ofice of Education. The duties the teachers will have include preparing meals, cleaning play areas, changing diapers, nap times, hand washing, and teeth brushing plus paperwork items. Teachers will have paperwork duties included in their reasonability of cleaning and organizing the play environment.

Positions we are looking for:

  • Interns: anytime they work duties will be asigned towards interns' goals
    • Hours: 8-30 hours weekly; Monday - Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm
    • Must have at least 6 child development units
    • Immunizations
    • Fingerprints a must (if interning more than 16hours weekly)

Skills and Specifications: The teachers will greet children and communicate with parents, interact with children through play, teach and educate through goals of children, and role model the rules and expectations to children in both inside and outside play areas. It is a plus if they already have CPR and First Aid with a TB clearance. Finger prints will be required if hire.

Education and Qualifications: The teachers should have at least 6-12 units or more within Child Developments or Education from a college. If they are someone who just started in the field (starting school) and has a position for working with children the Director will work closely with them or an experienced employee.

Wages: Will be determined by the employee education and experience level. For each position hours worked will have a different pay rate as well.

Reporting Relationship of the particular placement:  The employees will report to the Director for anything need during the time placed with TTT's. The Director will be training them in the beginning and then once they have started their duties and routine the Director will allow them to perform by themselves in the classroom. Director monitor them through the day. The student will be involved with other staff members working at the time. There will be two full time staff with one part time staff during the day.

Interveiw and Evaluate:  All students will be interviewed. There will be evaluation every 30-45 days. If they become an employee of TTT's they will have an evaluation every 6 months. Once the students is done with other schooling (internship or paid internship) the Director and student will discuss a paid position at TTT's center.

Work Schedule: The assign students working schedule will be determined on their experience and education. The schedule the students will follow will be set by the Childcare routine of childern. The duties will be assign based on students ability.

Training and Orientation: The students will go through an orienation before starting work. The orientation is based on the information the student or employee needs to know about how the childcare is ran and based on. The Director will do hands on training with the students, how long the director will be the student is based on the students experiences. When the student is at TTT's they will be asked if they can go to trainings that TTT's staff have to go to.

Work Space: The students work space location is going to be at the childcare center. The supervision will be there most of the time. Everything the students needs is on site and will be able to most paperwork on site. The student might have to do some research at home for the activites needed.

Site Supervisor: The Director/Owner will be the site supervisor. The student will be over seen by the Tanya herself. TTT's employees will support the student learning. The director will meets with the representative of the University as needed. She all also meet with the responsible campus office or faculty member at the University.

Individual plans: The student will fulfillment of their goals and plan for their own professional development.

Evaluation: The Director will evaluate the students' performance. Also, will do any evaluation that are given to her to fill out.

Work Termination: The Director will be the one to terminate any student that do not performing satisfactorily.
