California Rural Legal Assistance, Inc.

Organization Description

California Rural Legal Assistance, Inc. (CRLA) is a non-profit law firm. Founded in 1966, CRLA’s mission is to fight for justice and individual rights alongside the most exploited communities of our society. Through its regional offices and cross-cutting programs, CRLA provides legal services to nearly 50,000 low-income people annually. The Modesto CRLA office has served low-income families in Stanislaus County for 53 years, addressing civil legal issues in the areas of housing, employment, education, and other civil rights that affect our most vulnerable populations.
