CSU Stanislaus- Transcend/Transverse Conference Prep (COMM 4940)

Organization Description

Program Information

The intern will be working with Dr. Harvey in planning the Transcend/Transverse Conference. The main activities for the internship will include the following:

  • Engage in planning, organzing, supporting, and implementing activities in planning the conference.
  • Research local elementary and high schools and get contact info from them in order for promotion of the conference.
  • Create promotional materials for advertising the conference.
  • Establish social media sources such as facebook
  • Outreach to establish a base of stakeholders on campus and in the community.
  • Co-facilitator of all activities necessary to implement the event.
  • Develop research ideas and implement them (including literature review, development of research instruments, etc.).
