Roots & Routes Intercultural Collaborations

Organization Description

Overview
Roots & Routes Intercultural Collaborations is a non-profit organization that facilitates sharing
knowledge between diverse cultures en route to responsibly stewarding a flourishing living world.

Interns work together to form the Youth Visionary Collective (YVC) while collaborating with R&R’s partners on community-led projects. The YVC operates within 5 teams:

  • Rights of Nature Lawsuit & Documentary
  • Social Media
  • Fundraising
  • Organizational Operations
  • Steering Team for Program Development

While helping to inspire and build our organization, youth will have a chance to learn from one another as they grow to be the next generation of organizers, collaborators, and compassionate stewards of the planet. Interns learn firsthand how non-profit organizations are run, how to facilitate open and empathetic conversations, how to organize community led projects and movements, and how to create and sustain intercultural networks of reciprocity and respect.
