Program Information

The Warrior Cross Cultural Center aims to provide a sense of belonging for members of our campus community and advocate for an inclusive and respectful space for students from all backgrounds, identities and experiences. Through a wide range of programs, we collaborate with different campus partners to provide welcoming spaces, affirmation and validation for individuals and student groups.

We work to empower underserved communities while challenging systems, hegemonic thinking and policies, and traditions that maintain inequities in our society.

The Warrior Cross Cultural Center empowers our community by educating students, campus stakeholders, and community partners with the goal of creating a socially just living and learning environment on campus that is inclusive, affirming, and just.

The intern would assist in the co-development and implementation of programs and activities to address academic and social needs of traditionally marginalized students including LGBTQ+, undocumented students, and self-identified men at Stanislaus State both at the Turlock and Stockton campus. The intern would work closely with program coordinators to identify needs, and provide a strong sense of belonging and engagement for diverse groups. This internship will be instrumental in assisting to build the support systems to assist students in persistence to graduation as well as their personal well-being.
