Organization Description

Approachable ffa is a non-profit agency licensed by the State Department of Social Services since June 25, 2005. It is located in Merced, California. The agency's goal/mission is to serve the needs of children between thee ages 0-18 years whom have been displaced from their families due to various forms of abuse and neglect in the majority of our surrounding communities and counties. The agency provides structured settings and trained staff to meet the various behavioral and mental health needs of the children placed in our care.

Program Information

Students will participate in case reviews; case management; participating and collaborate with minor/youth treatment plan; weekly face-to-face visit with assigned cases; weekly progress note documentation; Develop Appraisal/Needs Plans; Writing of incident reports; assist with intake process; and collaborating with the surrounding county social workers.
