Organization Description

HPEC's mission is to reduce the growing inmate population by working with underprivileged students who often come from foster homes and group homes. This is done through The Next Step...Principle-Based Lifestyle Training (PBLT)(ALL COPYRIGHTS RESERVED 1994-2021), which is a book created by the managing director, Gloria J. Morris. Throughout this book, there are lessons that can be applied to both school and personal life. The tuotrs are trained in the PBLT methods in order to aid the students.

Program Information

CSU Stanislaus Graduate MSW student's activities as set forth on the SW 5040 Foundation Practicum Learning Plan & Evaluation Form, provides the practicum learning objectives/competencies, required practice behaviors & learning activities that are tied to a 9 point rubric for evaluation at mid-year in December and again at the end of the school year in May. HPEC has aligned its activities for each student (TK-8) in accordance with the 9 point rubric. MSWs are lead by an LCSW Field Supervisor and day to day operations are managed by Gloria Morris, Mg. Director/Curriculum & Task Supervisor.
