Organization Description

The mission of Durham Ferry Outdoor Education Center is to foster environmental stewardship and scientific curiosity by connecting students and the community with nature. Through hands-on, inquiry-based outdoor programs, we aim to inspire a deep understanding of ecosystems, conservation, and sustainability. Our purpose is to empower youth to become responsible environmental leaders by providing engaging educational experiences that promote critical thinking, collaboration, and a lifelong appreciation for the natural world.
